Day Camps

At the YMCA we believe in helping children and youth grow in spirit, mind, and body. We provide fun, challenging activities for campers between the ages of 5-12 that are safe and appropriate for their age and skill level.

Camp activities spark both interest and imagination, from sports, games, and outdoor activities to creative art and special events. Weekly themes add a special touch. Come join us and keep the smile in your summer!

Big Cove YMCA Camp

Big Cove YMCA Camp is a historic wilderness camp dedicated to providing youth with opportunities to develop leadership skills, enhance their self esteem and foster an appreciation of the natural environment in a safe, respectful community. The camp is located on a 120 acre peninsula on the quiet Merigomish Harbour, surrounded by ocean shoreline and including forest, field and a beautiful salt marsh.
