The YMCA of Greater Halifax Dartmouth has cultivated an international partnership with The Bogotá YMCA for more than 25 years. Over the decades, the partnership has consisted of financial support from our YMCA with “people” support through volunteer and staff exchanges.

International development has consisted of three areas of focus:

• Global Education and Public Awareness
• Human Resource Exchange – Staff and Volunteer
• Financial Support for the International Partners Programs

YMCA partnerships are designed to be collaborative in nature with both partners contributing to strengthen the other, whether through financial support or exchange of skills or expertise.
