The YMCA is a charitable, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development of individuals, families and communities.

Volunteers play an important role in achieving our mission. More than 490 volunteers contribute their time and talent to the YMCA annually.

More than 250 staff work for the YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth year-round with approximately 300 staff seasonally.
