Welcome Volunteers!

As an association dedicated to the development of individuals, families and communities, volunteers play an important role in achieving our mission. It is important that our volunteers have the opportunity for personal and professional growth through their experience.

Definition of a Volunteer
A YMCA volunteer is defined as anyone who willingly gives of their time to help The YMCA accomplish its mission without receiving compensation for their efforts from The YMCA.

YMCA / Volunteer Partnership
The partnership of The YMCA staff and volunteers is central to the ability of The YMCA to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities. There must be both benefits and growth provided to the volunteer and a commitment from the volunteer to the work of The YMCA.
